Cowlitz has dropped into great shape with 3 ft of vis and and high flow.
Few late winter steelhead ans early summer steelhead are around blue creek. Most fish are being caught side drifting bait. Summer steelhead will pick up in the next couple of weeks. Diver and Shrimp work wll for these early summer fish and will pick up springers as well.
Spring Chinook has benn slow but is picking up each day. Fish spread out through system. Diver and Herring or Kwik fish have caught most fish so far. Over the next couple of weeks eggs will start to work but the smolys mat be a problem so try Prawns.

Cowlitz has dropped into great shape with 3 ft of vis and and high flow.

The Cowlitz is still too high to expect to hook into the fish moving into the system. Flows below Mayfield Dam are at around 10k, and until these drop, don’t bother with a float.
